Some people like her writing, others don't, just like anyone. But I've always had a passion for almost anything Jeanette Winterson has written. Her novels feel more like poetry than prose, in many ways, and she's always searching for new forms and means of telling stories. Sometimes she fails, more often I think she outdoes herself.
