I've always been fascinated, in a purely alien way, with hunting. I've only been in the presence of a gun once or twice in my life and I remember each and every little detail. Your story, Chris, humanizes hunting and takes it beyond "sport" or a hobby. It was refreshing and very well-written, as usual.

Hey Chris - thanks for that story. It has a wonderful sense of place; I felt very *present* within the events. Keep rockin'!

Another excellent story, Mr. Zakbar. I was very excited to have my interview with Daniel Wallace in the same issue as it (and actually took a sneak peek while proofing the galleys of the interview, don't tell anyone).

I really love the reversal of prey and hunter in this story.

Hey Jason, thanks. I really liked your interview with Wallace too. It was interesting to hear him talk about his writing history and process.
