Thank you for that link. As a Canadian I feel uninformed sometimes about these issues. Canadian supreme courts just upheld the ruling that same-sex marriage was legal so I sometimes forget with our neighbor it isn't quite going that well.

"Traditional family values are under attack" was the one line that really stood out from that Guardian article. Since when are homosexual couples devoid of values? It just makes me sick but glad to be Canadian.

"We have to prevent liberal libarians and trendy teachers from "re-engineering society's fabric in the minds of our children"" Didn't Hitler say similar things? What's next? Book burning and angry marches to the capital from local taverns?

It appears that some people would like to do that, and probably have in some cases done so.

I wish the U.S. could take some lessons from Canada on inclusivity. Land of the free. All I can do is shake my head sometimes.
