Nebulas
Nebula winners have been announced. Congratulations all around. It was a particularly special ceremony as Kelly Link won *two* awards, Best Short Story and Best Novelette. There was some fear she wouldn't make it to the ceremony, but you can see from this photo that she was able to get there in time after quickly finishing her spot in the latest Mary J. Blige video.
Sorry, Kelly, couldn't resist. That jacket is SWANK, baby, SWANK!

Actually, I really love the jacket.
The jacket rocks. My silliness is nothing but praise, actually. More writers should dress as wonderful.
The white ultra-fur boa can live a life apart from the jacket. It accompanied a crowd of winners (Black and Link), loosers (Witcover, Lanagan, Gunn, Yours Truly) and assorted others on an after-awards pub crawl. It speaks fluent English, though with an unplacable accent, is a no-nonsense drinker and was last seen by me stretched out on a bench in the interior patio of the convention hotel.
